Wedger/Sorter at Mando Plant (as of May 14, 2020)
Compensation/Salary: $10/ hour @ regular rate, $15/ hour @ overtime rate
Shift Times: 1st shift 6:30am - 5:00pm
2nd shift- 8:30pm - 6:30 am
Background Requirements: Due to the Coronavirus, Mando is "relaxing" its criminal background limitations and restrictions
until July 2020. After July, background restrictions will go back to No felonies or violent misdemeanors in the past 7 years.
The new restrictions & limitations (until July 2020) are:
- CANNOT be hired
with charges in the last 5 years
or pending charges of:
• Aggravated assault (1st degree)
• Murder
• Rape
- CANNOT be hired
with charges in the last 2 years
or pending charges of:
• Possession with intent to distribute or sale
• Aggravated Assault (2nd degree)
Duties and Responsibilities
· Work as a part of a 6 member team that loads, sorts and wedges auto parts on a conveyor belt.
· Must be able to work 10-12 hour shift
· Steel toe shoes required
· Must be able to wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, face shield- some positions)
· Must have direct deposit- paid weekly
Skills needed:
Wedge operators must be physically fit and willing to work very hard. The job is a very physically demanding job.

* Note: The facility is non-climate controlled. (whatever the temperature is outside that is what it is inside. i.e. Summer=hot, winter=cold)
